Hulk Hogan, a legendary figure in sports entertainment, passed away after experiencing a potential “cardiac arrest” at his residence in Clearwater, Florida, as reported by TMZ Sports.

Emergency responders swiftly arrived at his home and transported him to the hospital.

Following the news of Hogan’s passing, WWE issued a statement mourning the loss of the Hall of Famer.

“WWE is saddened by the news of Hulk Hogan’s death. A cultural icon, Hogan played a pivotal role in WWE’s global success during the 1980s,” the company expressed. “Our thoughts are with Hogan’s family, friends, and fans during this difficult time.”

Reports of Hogan’s health struggles had surfaced in recent weeks, but his wife, Sky, refuted these claims, affirming his strength and ongoing recovery from medical procedures.

Prior to his passing, Hogan was preparing to launch a new project alongside former wrestling executive Eric Bischoff called Real American Freestyle, aimed at revitalizing freestyle wrestling.

In addition to his contributions to the wrestling world, Hogan also ventured into politics, supporting President Donald Trump at various events, including the Republican National Convention and a rally at Madison Square Garden.
