Willie and Korie Robertson Return in ‘Duck Dynasty: The Revival’

The Robertsons are making a comeback in “Duck Dynasty: The Revival.” Willie and Korie Robertson, along with their grown children, are back on television. The family is excited to return to the spotlight, especially after their children expressed interest in being part of the show once again.

Korie mentioned that it was fulfilling to see their kids eager to join the show, proving that being on television at a young age didn’t have a negative impact on them. “Duck Dynasty: The Revival” focuses on the adult children of Willie and Korie, showcasing their lives and families.

One of the highlights of the show is Sadie Robertson, who is now a wife, soon-to-be mother, and a faith-driven figure for her generation. Sadie and her husband recently shared about a challenging week and how their faith helped them through it.

Despite the excitement of returning to television, the family faced its share of challenges. Willie and Korie admitted that it was a faith-filled decision to come back to the spotlight after almost a decade. The family took their time to consider the offer and eventually decided to document a new chapter in their lives.

The return to television also marked a significant change in the show, especially after the passing of Phil Robertson, the patriarch of the family. Phil, known for the Duck Commander hunting company, passed away after battling Alzheimer’s. The family is looking forward to sharing their new journey with viewers in “Duck Dynasty: The Revival.” He received a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease in December 2024.

Following Phil’s passing, the Robertson family shared with Fox News Digital that they experienced a mix of sadness, appreciation, and a renewed sense of purpose.

“I think it’s a mix of sadness, we miss him, but also joy and contentment from his beliefs, his path, and all that he achieved during his lifetime,” Willie expressed.

While Phil faced Alzheimer’s in his final years, he had prepared his family for the inevitable. Willie mentioned that this preparation helped ease some of the pain.

Even during their mourning period, the Robertsons turned to what they knew best – faith and family.

Willie and Korie highlighted that Phil’s unwavering commitment to his faith is the legacy they aim to uphold and pass on to future generations.

“He was a man who lived by the river, without a cell phone or computer,” Korie shared with Fox News Digital. “What God did through his life… he was truly sold out for Jesus. For all of us, it has given us a greater boldness in our faith.”

Regarding the Robertson legacy, Willie and Korie stressed that it owes everything to Phil.

“There wouldn’t have been a ‘Duck Dynasty’ show. There wouldn’t have been a company if his life hadn’t changed. This family wouldn’t have stayed together. It’s all due to his faith and transformation — him and Mom [Miss Kay] — that kept this family united.”

“Duck Dynasty: The Revival” airs on Sundays on A&E, with the season finale set for August 3.

The Robertson family is currently in production for the second season of the popular show, with the premiere date to be announced soon.
