Fans at the Electric Castle festival in Romania were disappointed with Justin Timberlake’s performance. Instead of singing, Timberlake encouraged the audience to sing and danced around the stage. One fan even compared the experience to watching a “mute singer” and shared a video on TikTok.
Users on social media flooded the comments with jokes about the lackluster performance. Some said it felt like attending a karaoke session, while others mentioned it could have been an email instead.
Representatives for Timberlake have not commented on the situation yet. Timberlake is currently on his Forget Tomorrow World Tour in Europe, with upcoming stops in Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Turkey.
Earlier in June 2024, Timberlake faced legal trouble after being arrested for DWI. He pleaded guilty to a lesser charge and addressed the incident with a public apology and a drunk-driving PSA.
