A Little League baseball player is receiving support from major league players.
Marco Rocco, a 12-year-old member of Haddonfield Little League in New Jersey, faced suspension from a state tournament after flipping his bat in celebration following a home run on July 16.

His family pursued legal action, resulting in the suspension being overturned just in time for the state tournament.
A judge’s ruling allowed Marco to play, and news of the incident drew attention from Major League Baseball players like New York Yankees’ Jazz Chisholm Jr., who expressed shock at the disciplinary action taken.

Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Max Scherzer also criticized the suspension, emphasizing the importance of celebrating in the game.
Little League defended its decision and emphasized the importance of upholding values of integrity and sportsmanship.

Despite the controversy, Marco played in the tournament, with his team facing a tough loss in the first game. He will have another chance to compete on Saturday.
