Musician Phil Collins has recently been hospitalized, but not due to a terminal illness.
Despite online rumors causing concern among fans, the iconic Genesis frontman, aged 74, is currently recuperating from knee surgery and is not receiving hospice care, as confirmed by his representative to People.
His representative clarified that any speculations about Collins being in hospice care are “completely incorrect.”

Rumors about Collins being in hospice care arose after he spoke about his health struggles earlier this year.
In an interview with Mojo in February, Collins mentioned that he lacks the motivation to create new music due to his ongoing health issues. He disclosed that he could no longer play the drums due to the difficulty of handling drumsticks.

“I keep thinking I should go downstairs to the studio and see what happens. But I’m not hungry for it anymore. The thing is, I’ve been sick. I mean very sick,” expressed Collins.
Collins last produced original work in 2002 with his solo album, “Testify.” He released “Going Back” in 2010, a compilation of Motown covers, but has not released new material since then.
