Trump moves 2 nuclear subs following ex-Russia president’s remarks

President Donald Trump announced on Friday that he has directed two Nuclear Submarines to be deployed in specific regions following controversial remarks made by former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev.

Medvedev expressed concern earlier this week, stating that Trump’s new ultimatum for Russia to resolve the conflict with Ukraine is a dangerous escalation towards war.

In response to Medvedev’s statements, Trump stated on Truth Social, “Based on the highly provocative statements of the Former President of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, I have ordered two Nuclear Submarines to be positioned in the appropriate regions, just in case these inflammatory statements lead to unforeseen consequences.”

Trump emphasized the importance of words and their potential consequences, expressing hope that the situation does not escalate further.

Meanwhile, Medvedev, currently serving as the deputy chairman of the Security Council of Russia, warned that Trump’s deadlines and threats towards Russia could have severe repercussions for the United States.

Trump initially set a 50-day deadline for Russia to agree to a peace deal, but later shortened it to 10-12 days due to stalled negotiations. He emphasized the lack of progress and the need for immediate action.

The escalating tensions between Trump and Putin have intensified in recent weeks, especially following Russia’s recent military actions in Ukraine, including launching drones, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles.

In a separate post on Truth Social, Trump highlighted the devastating toll of the conflict, stating that both Russian and Ukrainian soldiers, as well as civilians, have suffered significant losses. He expressed his desire to end the conflict and emphasized that he aims to prevent further bloodshed.

The situation remains fluid, with both sides facing casualties and mounting tensions. The international community continues to monitor the situation closely.
