A truck filled with hot dogs was involved in an accident on a Pennsylvania interstate, causing a chaotic traffic situation with hot dogs scattered all over the road.

According to a spokesperson from the Pennsylvania State Police, a tractor-trailer experienced mechanical problems on Interstate 83, just north of the Maryland state line, leading to a collision with another vehicle.

The impact of the crash caused the truck to hit the concrete dividers, resulting in the trailer doors opening and hot dogs spilling out onto the road.

Shrewsbury Fire Company Chief Brad Dauberman mentioned, “Once those hot dogs leave the truck and land on the road, they’re considered garbage, and they’re still pretty warm.”

Reports indicated that four individuals were treated for minor injuries that were not life-threatening.

Reflecting on the incident, Dauberman shared, “I can personally attest that hot dogs are very slippery. I did not know that.”
