Jelly Roll put in a year of effort to step into a WWE ring and faced a tough challenge with Randy Orton by his side at SummerSlam on Saturday night.

The country music artist and Orton teamed up to take on Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre in a tag-team match. Despite Jelly Roll starting off strong, Paul and McIntyre began to dominate in the ring. They targeted Jelly Roll after taking out Orton.

McIntyre positioned Jelly Roll on the announcers’ table while Paul climbed to the top of the ring post. He raised his Prime bottles and delivered a massive frog splash onto Jelly Roll, breaking the table.

Jelly Roll was assisted back up as Orton tried to hold off McIntyre and Paul.

The crowd at MetLife Stadium rallied behind Jelly Roll, who managed to get back into the ring. He executed a chokeslam on Paul and followed it up with a Black Hole Slam on McIntyre.

However, McIntyre halted Jelly Roll’s momentum by delivering a Claymore kick. Although Orton managed to hit an RKO on McIntyre, Paul threw Orton into the ring post and out of the ring before delivering another frog splash on Jelly Roll.

Paul pinned Jelly Roll to secure the victory for his team.
