Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky electrified the WWE Universe by starting night two of WrestleMania 41 in April alongside Bianca Belair.

The excitement continued as Naomi joined the mix instead of Belair, competing with Ripley and Sky for the Women’s World Championship on Sunday night to kick off night two of SummerSlam at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.

Naomi, as the defending champion, entered the match after cashing in her Money in the Bank contract during the title bout between Ripley and Sky at Evolution in July, leading to the triple-threat match at SummerSlam.

The fans were in for a treat.

Naomi had previously cautioned the locker room to “proceed with caution,” and that sentiment carried into the championship match as she managed to secure a victory against two top female wrestlers from various promotions.

Although Naomi initially seemed hesitant to face Ripley and Sky, she eventually took control at the start of the match. A strategic move by Ripley against Sky allowed Naomi to capitalize and take the offensive, even resorting to biting Ripley’s finger.

However, Naomi’s dominance didn’t last long. Ripley and Sky managed to eliminate Naomi from the match, after which Sky turned her attention to Ripley. Despite Sky’s high-flying acrobatics, Ripley’s strength gave her the upper hand.

A well-timed move reset the match momentarily, with Naomi breaking up a pin attempt and Ripley executing a Razor’s Edge and powerbomb on Sky. Naomi intervened once again.

As the battle continued outside the ring, Sky executed a spectacular springboard moonsault, taking down her opponents and gaining momentum.

In the final moments, Naomi eliminated Sky, Ripley surprised Naomi with a headbutt and a Riptide, but before she could secure the pin, Sky interrupted.

Ripley and Naomi took the fight outside once more, with Ripley hitting Naomi with a cannonball before refocusing on Sky. However, Sky countered with a sunset flip powerbomb on Naomi.

Regaining her focus in the ring, Ripley delivered a Riptide from the top rope on Sky. Despite attempting to pin Sky, Naomi re-entered the ring and rolled Ripley over for the pin, securing the victory by grabbing Ripley’s tights for the 1-2-3 pinfall.

Ripley contested that Naomi had grabbed her tights, but the decision stood. Sky was left in agony.
