Democratic Representative Jasmine Crockett, known for her outspoken criticism of former President Trump, is facing a damaging report this week accusing her of being a “diva” and mistreating staff members.

Multiple congressional aides who have worked with or for Crockett described her as “rude” and seldom present in her Washington, D.C. office unless cameras are present, according to the New York Post.

“She spends most of her time at home, refuses to come into the office, and is indifferent towards staff, often yelling at them,” one former aide revealed, adding that Crockett is “almost never in the office” and “disengaged.”

The former staffer also mentioned that Crockett “freaks out over trivial matters.”

Another source, who is said to be well-informed, stated that Crockett mistreats staff and is more focused on building her social media presence than addressing local issues in her district.

Crockett, who has been a Texas representative in Congress since 2023, is frequently in the spotlight for her criticisms of Trump, often going viral for her fiery speeches during committee hearings.

According to the report, Crockett prefers to work from a luxury office building rather than her designated office, and insists that staff members drive her short distances in a rented car, specifically requesting an Escalade or a similar vehicle.

Crockett’s behavior has allegedly created a toxic work environment, leading to high turnover rates among staff members, particularly impacting Black female employees who feel disempowered.

When confronted about her choice of words in referring to GOP Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, Crockett dismissed concerns raised by gay staffers in her office, stating, “That’s not offensive. You’re stupid if you think so.”

Earlier this year, Crockett faced criticism for jumping ahead of two wheelchair-bound passengers while boarding a flight, a move that sources close to her claim is indicative of her overall personality.
