Colts’ Anthony Richardson injured in preseason game against Ravens

Indianapolis quarterback Anthony Richardson suffered an injury in his first preseason game of 2025 on Thursday night when he was sacked by the Baltimore Ravens’ David Ojabo. Ojabo tackled Richardson, causing a potential finger injury. Subsequently, Richardson had to leave the game and was replaced by Daniel Jones.

Jones took over as quarterback for the team’s next offensive series, while Richardson had successfully led the Colts to a field goal on his initial drive. The original plan was for Richardson to play 1½ quarters, with Jones playing the remaining half-quarter.
