The long-awaited release of Madden NFL 26 seems to feature a touchdown celebration that gained popularity among some players last season.

Players like San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa and Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers were known for imitating President Donald Trump’s celebratory dances after making big plays in 2024.

The new edition of the popular NFL video game showcases Eagles running back Saquon Barkley performing his own version of the dance.

In a Madden game between the Eagles and Washington Commanders, Jalen Hurts passes to Barkley. The virtual representation of the star running back then scores a touchdown and celebrates with the signature Trump dance.

Barkley and Trump have a history together. Earlier this year, Barkley visited the White House to celebrate the Eagles’ Super Bowl win.

Barkley faced criticism for his association with Trump but defended his actions on social media.

“Some people are upset because I played golf and visited the White House with the PRESIDENT,” Barkley wrote on X. “Maybe I just respect the office, not a hard concept to understand,” he added. “I golfed with Obama not too long ago and look forward to finishing my round with Trump! Now please stop with the politics and have an amazing day.”

Barkley declined an invitation to join Trump’s Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition due to his busy schedule.

“I felt like I’m gonna be super busy, so me and my family thought it was probably in the best interest to not accept that,” Barkley said, according to NBC Philadelphia. “So, [I] was definitely a little shocked when my name was mentioned, but I’m assuming it’s something great. I appreciate it but was a little shocked when my name was mentioned.”

Trump also named other prominent figures like Bosa, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, and Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker to the council.
