Askren, in the video, mentioned the challenges he still faces post-hospitalization, including relearning basic tasks like walking. He expressed his appreciation for the outpouring of support he received from friends, family, and fans.
Askren’s wife recounted the close calls he had with death during his illness, highlighting the severity of his condition.
