Former football star Deion Sanders recently disclosed his battle with bladder cancer.
Sanders urged everyone to get regular check-ups, emphasizing the importance of early detection. He shared, “Make sure you get the right care because without wonderful people like this, I wouldn’t be sitting here today becaue it grew so expeditiously. But please get yourself checked.”
Hall of Fame quarterback Brett Favre expressed his shock upon learning about Sanders’ diagnosis. He praised the medical team for successfully treating the cancer.

The 2024 season was a successful one for Sanders as the Buffaloes finished 9-4 and participated in the Alamo Bowl.
Colorado will kick off their 2025 season with a home game against Georgia Tech on Aug. 29.
