Country music sensation Carrie Underwood has fully embraced the country lifestyle. When she’s not performing or serving as a judge on “American Idol,” she can be found at her family farm just outside Nashville. There, Underwood, along with her husband Mike Fisher and their two sons, Isaiah and Jacob, are focusing on homesteading activities.
Underwood is busy growing produce, raising livestock, and even trying her hand at canning foods and crocheting clothing, all as part of her desire to live a simpler life.

Recently, she shared photos of the tomatoes and peaches she grew. In June, she recounted an encounter she had while tending to her sheep.
The “Before He Cheats” singer described a moment when she went to her orchard to feed her animals and began to pray. Just as she started praying, she was startled by a snake in the blueberry bush. Despite the encounter, she reflected on the presence of evil in the world but also the comforting presence of God.
