If you find yourself at a Coldplay concert, there’s a chance you might end up on the jumbotron.
Chris Martin had a playful message for concert attendees during one of the band’s recent shows, addressing the viral Kiss Cam incident involving Astronomer CEO Andy Byron.
Over the weekend, the band performed at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, Wisconsin.

“We’d like to say hello to some of you in the crowd,” the 48-year-old said in a video posted on X, prompting cheers and laughter from the audience.
“How we’re gonna do that is we’re gonna use our cameras and put some of you on the big screen,” said Martin with a grin. “So please, if you haven’t done your makeup, do your makeup now.”
The fan who shared the clip from Saturday’s show later wrote on X that “zero couples” were featured on the jumbotron.

The concert marked Coldplay’s first Music of the Spheres World Tour performance since the Kiss Cam incident at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts.
During that event, Byron was seen on the Kiss Cam with his arms around a woman, later identified as his company’s HR chief, Kristin Cabot. The pair appeared on the big screen during “The Jumbotron Song,” where Martin improvises songs about couples in the audience.
The woman covered her face and turned away from the camera, while a surprised Byron ducked down and left the frame. Martin then quipped, “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy.”

The company released a statement following the incident, expressing their commitment to values and culture, and noting that a formal investigation had been initiated.

Fox News Digital confirmed that Cabot and her ex-husband finalized their divorce in 2022, and property records indicate that they purchased a home together in April 2024. No divorce records were found for Byron.
Grace Springer, the TikTok user who shared the video of the viral moment, revealed that the incident became a hot topic among concert attendees, with no one initially knowing who the couple was until she posted the video.

Springer expressed hope that the partners involved can heal from the situation, and that her video may ultimately be a blessing in disguise for them.
