The trailer for “The Chrisleys: Back to Reality” reveals the family drama following Todd and Julie Chrisley’s conviction on bank fraud and tax evasion charges in 2022.
“The prosecutor read the letter Lindsie wrote to the FBI. We’re no longer family, lose our last name,” said Savannah Chrisley.
“I mean, your blood will screw you over, then a stranger definitely will,” added Grayson Chrisley.
Cameras have been documenting the Chrisley family for the past three years, capturing their experiences during the legal ordeal.
“Our household is completely divided. I told my parents I don’t know if it can ever be repaired,” said Savannah.
“I want people to know what actually went down with my family,” added Chase Chrisley.
The family’s rift with Lindsie began in 2012, leading to her departure from “Chrisley Knows Best” in 2017. Lindsie has been vocal about the impact of the Chrisley name on her life.
Todd and Julie were pardoned by President Trump after serving two and a half years of their 19-year combined sentence for bank fraud and tax evasion.
Savannah expressed her surprise at the pardon, stating, “I was in such shock and awe that the president himself took the time to tell me my family is coming back together.”
The Chrisleys’ attorney explained that the pardon would effectively erase the couple’s case, allowing them to move forward without the legal burden.
“The Chrisleys: Back to Reality” will premiere in September, showcasing the family’s journey through challenges and triumphs.
This series promises an authentic look at the Chrisleys’ lives, offering a deeper insight into their reality.
The show aims to present the real Chrisleys as they navigate this new chapter in their lives.
