The Cleveland Browns generated attention with their new alternate helmet, unveiled in the middle of Lake Erie on Wednesday.
However, the focus shifted when one of their videographers accidentally fell into the lake while trying to capture the moment.
Cleveland will showcase the new helmet three times during the regular season with orange-lettered brown uniforms. To showcase the helmet, the Browns organized a grand float on Lake Erie featuring an inflatable helmet replica of those worn by the players.

Despite the excitement, a mishap occurred when a videographer fell into the water while filming the helmet unveiling. Chomps, the Browns’ mascot, quickly threw a flotation device to the videographer, who was then rescued by a jet ski.
With a challenging season in 2024, the Browns’ fans are not feeling optimistic about the upcoming 2025 campaign. The team struggled with a 3-14 record, dealing with injuries to quarterback Deshaun Watson and a revolving door of backups trying to lead the offense.
As they head into the 2025 season, the Browns face uncertainties at quarterback, with Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett, and rookies Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders competing for the starting role.

The Browns have faced challenges in recent years, including a winless 0-16 season in 2017. While they made the playoffs under coach Kevin Stefanski in 2020, they have yet to secure a championship in the Super Bowl era.
Despite past successes, the Browns face tough competition in the AFC North and uncertainty surrounding their quarterback situation, leading to more pessimism than optimism for the upcoming season.
