The impact of the New York City mayoral race is being felt in races across the nation, including in the upcoming 2026 New Hampshire Senate race.

Former Massachusetts Senator Scott Brown, who is now vying for the Republican nomination in New Hampshire, criticized Democratic mayoral nominee Zohran Mamdani and Sen. Elizabeth Warren for their recent joint press conference. At the press conference, Warren praised Mamdani as “the guy who’s walking the walk right now.”

“Let’s be clear. New York City is our financial capital and a great city. I used to live there,” Brown stated in an interview with Fox News Digital.

“When you see who is endorsing them – AOC, Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren – it’s clear that they are supported by the far left, which advocates for open borders and sanctuary cities,” he added.

“I’ve linked Chris Pappas to this because when asked directly if he supports him, he wouldn’t give a clear answer. Based on his voting record, it’s evident that he aligns with AOC and Bernie Sanders on many issues we discussed, which is out of touch with the people of New Hampshire,” Brown said regarding his likely Democratic opponent, Rep. Chris Pappas.

In June, Brown released a digital ad titled “Comrade Chris,” featuring Pappas alongside Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Mamdani.

“Republicans have spent millions running attack ads against me over the years, trying to portray me in a negative light,” Pappas stated in a recent interview with Fox News Digital.

“If this individual wins the mayor’s race, he will campaign for other Democrats in New Hampshire, pushing them far to the left. The people of New Hampshire do not want his brand of socialism, extremism, antisemitism, and bigotry,” Brown added.

“He lacks the ability to provide clear answers and lacks strong convictions on issues. He tends to follow rather than lead,” Brown added.

In 2010, Brown made history by becoming the first Republican senator from Massachusetts in decades. He mentioned to Fox News Digital that the current political climate feels reminiscent of 2010 when he won a special election, which was seen as a significant victory for the Tea Party movement. He later lost to Warren in the 2012 election.

A recent study conducted by researchers at a major university has found that regular exercise can have a significant impact on overall mental health. The study, which was published in a reputable journal, followed a group of participants who engaged in various forms of physical activity over a period of six months.

The results showed that those who exercised regularly experienced a decrease in symptoms of anxiety and depression, as well as an overall improvement in mood. The researchers believe that the release of endorphins during exercise plays a key role in these mental health benefits.

Furthermore, the study found that even small amounts of exercise can make a difference. Participants who engaged in just 30 minutes of physical activity three times a week saw noticeable improvements in their mental well-being.

This research adds to a growing body of evidence that suggests a strong link between physical activity and mental health. Experts recommend incorporating regular exercise into one’s routine as a way to improve overall well-being.
