Shedeur Sanders had an impressive preseason debut with the Cleveland Browns, making his father proud in the process.
Deion Sanders, the head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes, took to social media to commend his son after the rookie quarterback’s stellar performance. Sanders went 14-for-23 for 138 yards and two touchdowns in his first NFL appearance.
“Yes Lawd! Yes! @ShedeurSanders,” Coach Prime posted on Friday night as he witnessed his son’s success against the Carolina Panthers’ defense in a 30-10 victory for Cleveland.

“Oh yeah what now! #CoachPrime,” Deion added in another post.
The spotlight was on Sanders in Charlotte as he got the starting nod from head coach Kevin Stefanski. With other quarterbacks dealing with injuries, Sanders took advantage of the opportunity and delivered a strong performance.
Sanders showcased his skills on the field, displaying a good understanding of the game and making key plays with both his passing and rushing abilities. While there are areas to improve, it was a promising start to his NFL journey.
“God is so Good!” Deion Sanders posted on social media following his son’s game.
Stefanski mentioned that Sanders will continue to get significant playing time in the upcoming games to aid in his development.

Stefanski emphasized the importance of giving Sanders playing time to aid in his development and help him adjust to the NFL level of competition.
It will be interesting to see how the Browns manage their quarterback situation moving forward, especially with the return of other players from injury.

Despite not being present at the game, Deion Sanders continues to show support and pride for his son’s accomplishments in the NFL.
