Denise Richards surprised everyone by showing up unannounced at her estranged husband’s home during their intense divorce.
The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star claimed that Aaron Phypers had euthanized one of her dogs without her consent, which led her to visit his home.
Richards’ attorney, Brett Berman, clarified that she did not violate any restraining order by going to Phypers’ house. He explained, “On August 3, 2025, after confirming that Mr. Phypers was not at home, Ms. Richards entered the house to retrieve her dogs after discovering that Mr. Phypers had put down one of her other dogs without her knowledge or consent.”
However, a source close to Phypers contradicted Berman’s statement by claiming that Richards was yelling and banging on the door to get inside, and Phypers left through a side door upon hearing her voice.
The Lost Hills Sheriff’s Department responded to a call around 4:30 p.m. on Sunday but found no evidence of a crime, so they left the property.
Richards was granted a temporary restraining order against Phypers on July 17 amid their ongoing divorce. In the court documents, she detailed instances of physical and emotional abuse by Phypers, including threats to her life and well-being.
Phypers denied all allegations of abuse in a statement, emphasizing that he has never harmed Denise or anyone else. He requested privacy as they deal with personal matters and urged the public and media to refrain from spreading false claims.
Phypers filed for divorce from Richards on July 7, citing irreconcilable differences and seeking spousal support. He also accused Richards of infidelity and drug addiction in a letter sent to family and friends.
