Ratajkowski launched her swimwear line, Inamorata, in 2017. In an interview with Vogue, she mentioned that the project was self-funded, and she enjoyed having complete control over it.
Turning her back on Hollywood after a successful acting career, Ratajkowski decided to focus on her swimwear line. She felt disillusioned with the industry and the way women were treated in it, leading her to make the decision to leave acting behind.
After starring in various films, Ratajkowski made the bold move to fire her agent, manager, and commercial representative in early 2020. She expressed her mistrust in them and their lack of genuine concern for her best interests.
