Brock Lesnar surprised wrestling fans at MetLife Stadium on Sunday night after John Cena lost the WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes.
Cena was receiving a standing ovation in his final SummerSlam when Lesnar’s music played for the first time in two years.
Lesnar and Cena faced off for several minutes before Lesnar entered the ring and delivered his signature F5.

The reaction from the crowd and on social media was intense, as fans were excited to see one of WWE’s greatest rivalries reignited.
However, some fans were shocked and disappointed by Lesnar’s return, as he had been involved in a controversial lawsuit related to alleged sexual misconduct.
Former WWE employee Janel Grant claimed that McMahon tried to persuade her to engage in sexual activity with Lesnar to convince him to sign a new contract with the company.

Lesnar’s return drew criticism from many fans who were aware of the allegations against him.
Some fans also noted the absence of the usual post-event press conferences after SummerSlam, speculating that it was a deliberate move to avoid questions about Lesnar’s controversial return.
