A private funeral service took place on Tuesday evening to honor the memory of wrestling icon Hulk Hogan at Indian Rocks Church in Florida. Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, passed away last month at the age of 71 after suffering a heart attack on July 24 at his home in Clearwater.
The service was attended by WWE celebrities like Paul “Triple H” Levesque and Stephanie McMahon, as well as other notable figures such as Kid Rock and Bam Margera. President Donald Trump, who couldn’t attend, paid his respects via social media.
The funeral service had tight security with police officers and K-9 dogs present, and flags were flown at half-staff in Florida to honor Hogan’s legacy. Governor Ron DeSantis declared it “Hulk Hogan Day in Florida,” highlighting Hogan’s deep connection to the state.
Hogan’s body will be cremated, and his wife, Sky Daily Hogan, expressed her disbelief at his passing on social media. His daughter, Brooke Bollea Oleksy, and son, Nick, also shared heartfelt messages commemorating their father.
Throughout his career, Hogan made a significant impact in the wrestling world and beyond, with appearances in movies, reality TV shows, and as a key figure in the entertainment industry. His larger-than-life personality resonated with fans worldwide.
