Marcus Jordan, the son of NBA legend Michael Jordan, recently shared on social media that the passing of Hulk Hogan and Ozzy Osbourne prompted him to reconnect with his famous father.

Both Hogan and Osbourne passed away within days of each other. Hogan reportedly suffered a potential cardiac arrest, while Osbourne was battling Parkinson’s disease.

“Yesterday, I realized that two icons from my childhood had passed away,” Jordan wrote in an Instagram post, as reported by TMZ Sports. “I reached out to both my parents and my siblings because life is short, and it’s essential to spend time with the people you love.”

“I almost succumbed to the pressure and had a drink… It was disheartening to see how social media has lost its sense of fun. It used to be okay to be quirky and share opinions, to learn from public mistakes. Now, there’s a societal pressure to conform and fit a certain mold,” he added.

“People wonder why individuals keep their thoughts to themselves nowadays… It shouldn’t be that way. Thankfully, I have been raised by family and friends who taught me right from wrong and love me for who I am. My heart goes out to those who are not as fortunate,” Jordan expressed.

Jordan has faced negative attention since the beginning of the year due to his arrest on drug possession and DUI charges.

Additionally, he was previously engaged to Larsa Pippen, the ex-wife of Scottie Pippen, from 2023 to 2024 before their relationship ended.
