Hulk Hogan’s passing leaves a lasting impact on WWE wrestler

The world of professional wrestling was shocked by the news of Hulk Hogan’s passing at the age of 71. He reportedly suffered a potential cardiac arrest at his home in Florida.

Hogan’s impact on WWE and the wrestling industry as a whole was immense, helping to propel it to new heights in pop culture and sports entertainment. WWE paid tribute to Hogan with a 10-bell salute and a video montage highlighting his career in the ring.

Before her tag-team match with Charlotte Flair at SummerSlam, Alexa Bliss shared her thoughts on Hogan’s influence on the wrestling world.

“He paved the way for what we do, and because of his impact on WWE, we are now able to have these massive shows,” she said. “Having a two-day SummerSlam for the first time ever is a testament to his legacy. When you think of WWE, Hulk Hogan is one of the first names that comes to mind.”

Bliss, also known as Alexis Kaufman, fondly recalled a moment with Hogan at WrestleMania where she surprised the audience by joining him in the ring.

Reflecting on the impact Hogan had on her career, Bliss shared a personal anecdote about her husband unknowingly capturing a video of her with Hogan at WrestleMania 35.

Bliss paid tribute to Hogan for paving the way for her and others in the wrestling business.

Bliss and Flair will be competing for the tag-team titles at SummerSlam against Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez. The event is scheduled to take place over Saturday and Sunday.
