A relaxing day on a New York beach turned chaotic when an individual with anti-Israel sentiments verbally attacked a former Israeli soldier for wearing a Star of David necklace.
The confrontation, captured on video and shared by ILTV Israel News, depicts the activist aggressively accusing the man and his companions in a tense exchange.
“Yesterday, an unstable pro-Hamas protester singled out a former IDF soldier on a New York beach simply for wearing a Star of David,” the video captioned on Instagram.
“Despite her yelling and disrespectful behavior, the Israelis remained composed and respectful. The only source of hatred in that video came from one side, as usual, and it was not from them,” the post elaborated.

The video shows the activist approaching a man with a woman and another man on a towel, accusing him of committing war crimes.
“You were in Gaza, right? Did you fight children? Did you kill children in Gaza?” she yelled at him.
Both men responded calmly to her inquiries. One confirmed his service in the Israel Defense Forces and his time stationed in Gaza. The woman with him added, “He went to Gaza to assist all the children that your people harmed.”
As the woman continued to film and shout, one of the men tried to defuse the situation.

“If you want to see a photo of [my brother] there right now, I can show you what’s happening.”
The protester retorted, demanding to see the photo.
“Kindly show me a picture of your brother in Gaza, please. Please do. Please. The world wants to see your faces. The world does want to see your faces!” she insisted.
She then inquired if he was proud of his service. Smiling, he replied, “I am proud of serving my country.”
This response only fueled her anger. “Do you believe that killing others and radicalizing them makes your people safer?” she shouted.
He calmly referenced the Oct. 7, 2023 Hamas attack, in which over 1,200 Israelis perished and hundreds were held captive.

He inquired if she had ever visited Gaza.
“I am unable to go to Gaza,” she responded. “Your people are preventing me.”
“If you were to go there right now, dressed like that, they would harm you,” he stated, pointing to her bikini.
“That’s not true!” she vehemently replied.
A lifeguard intervened, trying to mediate. The protester accused the Israelis of insulting her and identified them as IDF soldiers who “killed people in Gaza.”
“How did I insult you?” the man asked, remaining composed.
He offered once more to converse, but she refused.
“Why would I want to talk to your group? Your group has harmed my people! You are harming children,” she accused the other man in the group.
“Please leave us alone,” the man responded.
As she walked away, she shouted one last slogan: “Free Palestine!”
Fox News Digital sought a statement from the New York City Parks Department regarding the incident but did not receive a response.
