John Cena takes shots at The Rock and Travis Scott in last promo before SummerSlam

John Cena appeared to have a change of heart just before his upcoming match at SummerSlam against Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship.

Cena had turned into a villain after teaming up with The Rock and Travis Scott in February at Elimination Chamber. He defeated Rhodes at WrestleMania 41 with Scott’s help, securing his 17th championship reign, the most in WWE history.

During Friday’s “SmackDown,” Cena delivered a classic promo at the Prudential Center in Newark, expressing gratitude to Rhodes for helping him find his way back to his true self. Cena acknowledged his past mistakes and expressed a desire to leave WWE with his belt, ensuring he wouldn’t be forgotten by the fans.

Cena’s words also contained subtle jabs at The Rock and Scott, highlighting his journey back to authenticity.

Cena reflected on his past decisions, realizing that he had strayed from his core values in pursuit of false glory. He vowed to reclaim his true self and promised an epic showdown against Rhodes at SummerSlam.

Rhodes, visibly pleased with Cena’s transformation, is gearing up for a fierce street fight that could potentially mark the end of Cena’s title reign.
