Justin Timberlake reveals Lyme disease diagnosis after tour

Justin Timberlake has shared that he has been diagnosed with Lyme disease in an Instagram post marking the end of his Forget Tomorrow World Tour. In the post, Timberlake opened up about his health struggles, stating, “Among other things, I’ve been battling some health issues, and was diagnosed with Lyme disease – which I don’t say so you feel bad for me – but to shed some light on what I’ve been up against behind the scenes.”

The singer, who has been on tour since April 2024, explained why he chose to be transparent about his diagnosis, saying, “Not only did I prove my mental tenacity to myself but, I now have so many special moments with all of you that I will never forget.”

Timberlake also expressed gratitude towards his fans and crew for their support throughout the tour, stating, “Your energy and love continues to humble me. Your signs, messages, and DIY t-shirts have made me laugh and smile so many times.”

The news of Timberlake’s Lyme disease diagnosis comes after he faced criticism from fans for not singing during a festival performance. In response to the criticism, Timberlake thanked his fans for their continued support and expressed his appreciation for the experience of performing live music.
