Pop star Katy Perry halted her concert in Detroit, Michigan after a young fan collapsed on stage shortly after being brought up by the singer herself.
During the performance, Perry selected several fans from the audience to join her on stage, including a young girl named McKenna.
It appeared that Perry noticed McKenna becoming emotional as she distributed instruments to each fan.

After handing out instruments, Perry encouraged the group by saying, “Let’s practice. You got this and let’s breathe.” However, moments later, McKenna fainted, prompting Perry and her team to quickly react.
According to a fan who shared the video, “She got invited on stage and passed out from excitement and being overwhelmed.”
McKenna was promptly assisted offstage while Perry, visibly shaken, gathered the remaining children in a group hug and led the audience in a prayer for McKenna’s well-being.
“Dear God, we pray for McKenna, that she will come back fully and brighter and better than ever. Amen,” Perry said, as reported by Billboard.

Perry expressed empathy towards McKenna and the pressure of being in the spotlight, stating, “It’s so much. Sometimes you’re so brave and you can get on stage, and it’s overwhelming. I understand that feeling.”
Fortunately, McKenna recovered and was able to return to the audience to enjoy the rest of the concert.

The incident with McKenna follows another fan-related episode during Perry’s Lifetimes Tour, where a fan rushed the stage in Australia during the performance of “Hot N Cold.”
In a video captured by a fan, the man approached Perry on stage, causing a brief moment of alarm before security intervened.
Despite the interruption, Perry continued with her performance while security handled the situation, ultimately removing the fan from the stage.
The individual was later arrested and faced charges for the incident.
