WWE women’s world champion Naomi is gearing up for one of the biggest matches in SummerSlam history as she prepares to defend her title against Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky.
Naomi, also known as Trinity Fatu, recently cashed in her Money in the Bank contract at Evolution to secure a spot in a title match with Ripley and Sky. She emerged victorious by pinning Sky to claim the championship.
In the upcoming two-night SummerSlam event, Naomi will face the challenge of retaining her title at MetLife Stadium.
“I’m extremely excited. This is definitely the biggest match of my career,” Naomi shared in a recent interview with Fox News Digital. “To be able to compete against two of the best female wrestlers, not just in our division but in the world, is a huge honor. It’s going to be incredible, and I can’t wait for it.”
Naomi’s transformation from a fan favorite to a villain on the WWE roster has been a standout storyline in 2025. Her rivalry with Jade Cargill culminated in a match at WrestleMania 41, where Naomi suffered a loss but issued a warning to the division.
After winning the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match and successfully cashing in the contract, Naomi expressed her satisfaction in fulfilling her promise. She urged fans not to miss this year’s SummerSlam event.
The two-night SummerSlam extravaganza is scheduled to take place in East Rutherford, N.J., on Saturday and Sunday.
