Washington Nationals center fielder Jacob Young made an incredible home run robbery during the team’s 5-0 loss to the Cincinnati Reds at Nationals Park on Wednesday.
Reds left fielder Will Benson was at bat with two outs and a man on third base in the top of the eighth inning, with the Reds leading 3-0. Benson hit a deep ball to center field on the first pitch from Nationals reliever Jackson Rutledge.

Young, playing deep in center field, sprinted back to the wall and leaped to make the incredible catch.
The 25-year-old outfielder used the wall to propel himself even higher, reaching over to rob Benson of a two-run homer.
Young landed gracefully and raised his glove in triumph as he headed back to the dugout.

Despite his struggles at the plate, Young’s defensive prowess in center field keeps him in the lineup. He has a .251 batting average with no home runs and 18 RBI in 76 games this season.
The Reds’ victory over the Nationals was their only win in the three-game series as the Nationals won the first two games.

The Reds (53-30) will face the Tampa Bay Rays (53-49) on Friday at 7:10 p.m. ET, looking to build on their recent victory.
The Nationals (41-61) will take on the Minnesota Twins (49-52) on Friday at 8:10 p.m. ET, aiming to bounce back from their loss.
