Georgia Tech is making strides in artificial intelligence and high-performance computing with the development of a supercomputer named Nexus, backed by a $20 million investment from the National Science Foundation (NSF). The supercomputer is expected to be operational by spring 2026.

Nexus supercomputer delivers AI speed and power

This system is incredibly fast, with Nexus expected to achieve over 400 petaflops of performance, enabling it to perform 400 quadrillion operations per second. This level of speed will facilitate tackling complex problems in various fields such as health, energy, robotics, climate, and more, at an accelerated pace.

AI architecture drives Nexus from the ground up
