Legendary WWE wrestler Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake expressed remorse for not being able to visit his longtime friend Hulk Hogan before his passing at the age of 71.
Beefcake, whose real name is Ed Leslie, shared his feelings in an interview with TMZ Sports, revealing that he had considered visiting Hogan in Clearwater, Florida, upon hearing about his declining health.

“I was going to try to go to his house a couple of days ago. My wife said, ‘You should just go over there.’ And I was thinking, ‘Oh, my God,’ but if I go to the house and they say, ‘No, you can’t come in,’ it would have crushed me. So I didn’t, and now I wish maybe that I had tried to get in and tried to get to see him before he passed,” he said.
Beefcake expressed his love for Hogan and the deep bond they shared, emphasizing how Hogan had supported him in his wrestling career.

Recalling a time when Hogan went out of his way to be by his side after an accident, Beefcake highlighted their enduring friendship and mutual support.
Beefcake and Hogan had a long history together in the wrestling world, starting as The Boulder Brothers and later teaming up for main events. Beefcake was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2019.
