There has been a lot of buzz surrounding Cleveland Browns rookie Shedeur Sanders after his impressive performance in his preseason debut.
Sanders completed 14 of 23 passes for 138 yards and two touchdowns, leading Cleveland to a 30-10 victory. His performance has sparked discussions about his potential as the team’s starting quarterback in the regular season.

ESPN NBA analyst Kendrick Perkins even compared Sanders to LeBron James when he entered the NBA with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
“Shedeur got a preseason game feeling like a playoff opener,” Perkins wrote. “Most star power for a Rookie in Cleveland since LeBron!”

While James was hailed as the “King” before his NBA debut and compared to Michael Jordan, Sanders’ journey to the NFL has just begun. Selected in the fifth round from Colorado, Sanders had a standout final season with 4,134 passing yards and 37 touchdowns.
However, Sanders faces tough competition to secure a spot on the roster, with other quarterbacks like Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett, Dillon Gabriel, and the injured Deshaun Watson vying for positions on the team.

With only a few weeks remaining for quarterbacks to prove themselves and secure spots on the roster, the competition is heating up.
