A doorbell camera captured the shocking moment when an Amazon delivery truck was hit head-on by another car in North Texas, with the employee inside the vehicle.
Authorities stated that Micah Meeks caused the crash in Mineral Wells, Texas on Tuesday by falling asleep at the wheel while driving home from work.
Meeks was driving without a valid license and was ticketed at the scene, according to Mineral Wells Police.
“Officers were informed that the driver at fault had been at work earlier that day and was on his way to drop off the car with someone else,” the police said. “A co-worker was following him when the accident happened.”

The doorbell camera footage shows Amazon employee Dashon Holloman limping away from the vehicle. Neighbors and bystanders rushed to help both drivers.
Homeowner Kristy Miller, whose doorbell camera recorded the crash, mentioned to Fox 4 News that when she checked on the drivers, the Amazon driver asked her, “Did you get your package?”
Holloman, a husband and father of two from Fort Worth, had recently started working at Amazon and stated that the company provided support after the incident. He ensured that all packages were delivered before going to the hospital for a minor knee injury.

Resident Stormy Lovern mentioned to Fox 4 that he heard a loud noise and screaming shortly after Holloman completed a delivery.
“He had just made a delivery to my neighbor’s house, and so I had just seen him get back in his car and drive off,” Lovern said. “Then not even two minutes later I hear a huge boom outside and hear him screaming out there.”

Both Holloman and Meeks were treated at the scene by EMS for minor injuries. The police indicated that alcohol or excessive speed did not contribute to the crash.
“We are grateful that both drivers are safe and we appreciate the customer’s concern and immediate assistance after this incident,” said an Amazon spokesperson in a statement to Fox News Digital on Thursday.
