“I’m learning a lot about myself, spending more time with my friends. And I’m loving it,” she shared with The Times.
Aside from her adventures, the “White Lotus” star’s recent collaboration with American Eagle for its fall clothing campaign, “Sydney Sweeney Has Great Jeans,” has sparked diverse reactions on social media.
While some criticized the campaign for alleged racial undertones, others commended the actress for defying conventional advertising.
In a promotional video on the brand’s Instagram, the 27-year-old “Euphoria” star altered an AE billboard featuring her to showcase the tagline “Sydney Sweeney Has Great Jeans.”

According to Salon, the term “great genes” historically connotes “white, thin, and attractive” traits.
While some criticized the “tone-deaf” approach and likened the ad to “nazi propaganda,” others supported Sweeney.
“It doesn’t hurt ANYONE. That’s the point. It’s literally an advertisement for jeans. Not for nazism,” one person commented.
“Woke advertising is dead. Sydney Sweeney killed it,” another user stated on X.
As per The Hollywood Reporter, Sweeney will feature on various 3D billboards nationwide, including at the Sphere in Las Vegas. Additionally, there will be a Snapchat lens for users to interact with Sweeney and AI-enabled “try-on technology” for customers to experience the jeans.
Moreover, all net proceeds from Sweeney’s “Sydney Jean,” symbolized with a butterfly for domestic violence awareness, will be donated to Crisis Text Line, a nonprofit offering free and confidential text-based mental health support and crisis intervention.
Representatives for Sweeney and American Eagle did not immediately respond to requests for comment from Fox News Digital.
