FIRST ON THIS NEWS SOURCE – A man from Honduras, who is in the United States illegally and has a criminal record, was recently taken into custody and charged with attempted murder. The charges stem from an incident where he allegedly stabbed another person three times during a public soccer game in Alabama.
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) informed this news source that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) placed an immigration detainer on the individual, identified as 20-year-old Javier Lopez Tinoco. He is facing charges of attempted murder after a violent stabbing attack in Baldwin County, Alabama.
The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office arrested Tinoco on July 19 following the alleged stabbing at a public soccer game in Summerdale, as per DHS.

A TRAGIC INCIDENT IN KENTUCKY
After the stabbing, Tinoco reportedly fled the scene and the condition of the victim remains unknown.
Law enforcement located Tinoco on July 29, and upon his arrest, authorities found him in possession of four small bags of cocaine.
Following the arrest, ICE issued an arrest detainer to prevent Tinoco from being released and to ensure that he remains in custody for criminal and deportation proceedings.

SAFETY CONCERNS IN WISCONSIN
This recent stabbing incident was not Tinoco’s first encounter with law enforcement.
He was previously arrested in 2024 for public intoxication, according to DHS.
“A man was nearly KILLED because this Honduran illegal alien decided to go on a stabbing spree. These are the type of criminal illegal aliens ICE is working to get off our streets and out of our country,” stated a DHS Assistant Secretary, Tricia McLaughlin.

IMMIGRATION ENFORCEMENT EFFORTS
“ICE lodged a detainer to ensure this criminal will never be loose in American neighborhoods again,” McLaughlin added. “President [Donald] Trump and Secretary [Kristi] Noem will continue to put the safety of Americans FIRST.”
